Why insect protein
- Black Soldier Fly larvae contain about 60% protein with a complete amino-acid profile, plus calcium, magnesium, zinc and B vitamins.
- It is a novel protein, so it is suitable for dogs with chicken, beef or grain allergies and sensitive stomachs.
- Producing it needs a fraction of the land and water of beef or chicken.
- Our larvae are farmed near Cape Town and fed brewer's yeast, a food-industry by-product.
Ingredients
Insect protein (Black Soldier Fly larvae), sweet potato, peas, kelp, chia seeds, carrots, rooibos, vitamins and minerals, taurine, L-carnitine, DHA. No wheat, corn, soy, growth hormones, antibiotics, synthetic colourants or added sugar.
